You know you are getting old when you have the following conversation with your niece:
Jon: Do you guys have a DVR?
Sienna: No...well...my grandma has this really, really old DVR in her room, but it is kind of weird.
Jon: How so?
Sienna: Well, you have to put this big tape in it, and...
[laughter from Jess and me (realizing where she was headed)]

I don't think that going on that trip gave you permission to make fun of me on your blog :P
I used it as a kid, but if I had ever seen the VCR then I could have known what it was. I never saw it, I just heard it had a tape.
And it probably is from, like, the first year it came out, so it most likely is ancient. Meanie :P
